My uncle, Frank Hiroshi Manaka, passed away last year after reaching his 100th birthday. Very blessed life, indeed. (He also came to know Christ as his Savior before he passed)

Tuna management and conservation, in the long run, should be a good thing for the tuna business, and for both fishermen and processing plants, creating a sustainable business model for all involved. However, current realities are that catch reduction measures, tuna fishing bans, and many other management measures are not paying off for the businesses that are executing them.
